About the service
RCT, or Root Canal Therapy, is a dental procedure used to treat infection or damage within the pulp of a tooth. The pulp, which contains nerves and blood vessels, can become infected due to deep decay, repeated dental procedures, or trauma to the tooth.
During an RCT, the dentist removes the infected or damaged pulp, cleans and disinfects the inside of the tooth, and then fills and seals it to prevent further infection. Finally, the tooth is usually restored with a crown or filling to maintain its function and appearance. Root canal therapy helps save teeth that would otherwise need to be extracted, relieving pain and restoring dental health.
